- Griff’s Landing- Downtown Frederick, MD. Friendly bar staff and great happy hours. Try their bogey sandwich – sliced ham, swiss, jumbo lump crab, and special sauce on grilled Rye – or a blackjack burger with cajun spices!
- Simply Asia – Thurmont, MD. Try their Thai, specifically their green curry chicken!
- Monocacy Crossing – Frederick, MD. Fine dining plus great seasonal patio seating. My standouts include the grilled sirloin salad with goat cheese and cayenne pecans, and the whiskey duck nachos!
- Mexicali Cantina – Frederick, MD. Go for the camarones tequilla or lomo salteado for the main course, and of course, don’t forget some tres leches for dessert!
- Miyako Japanese Steakhouse – Frederick, MD. A great teppanyaki experience for adults and kids alike and only a few pieces of stray rice in your hair when you leave – Steak and scallops are solid choices!
